The Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority has approved the adoption of Aqaba’s new identity, set to be launched in the upcoming months.
This decision follows a series of participatory meetings with various sectors in Aqaba and the local community.
The new identity represents a significant strategic step aimed at enhancing the city’s status as a global tourist and investment destination. It reflects Aqaba’s ambition to become an integrated investment and tourism hub, aligning with royal visions and the Authority’s strategy.
In support of investment promotion, the Council also approved leasing a 300-dunum plot of land to a specialized mining investment company, conditional upon establishing a specialized factory in the Aqaba region.
